Bespoke Commissions

Katharine Gray Ceramics started with developing bespoke commissions. Whether it was a set of mugs for a villa in Spain, a full dinner set for a home in Sussex or decorative bowls for a floral designer, each commission was incredibly unique and a special collaboration between the artist and client.

The commission will start with the Katharine taking a brief of the clients requirements, exploring clay, colour and form. She will guide the client on what will work, both technically and aesthetically. The brief will then be developed into a detailed scope of works, formal agreement and price that will be reviewed and agreed by both parties prior to commencing the work. Depending on the scale of the commission, the artist will prepare test pieces for review and approval.

If you are interested in commissioning the artist please email kate@katharinegrayceramics.com
