Westwell Wine x Katharine Gray Ceramics Childrens Clay Workshop
Join us for a Children’s Ceramic Workshop to create a beautiful leaf using simple hand building techniques!
Hosted by local potter Kate of Katharine Gray Ceramics, the day will start with a trip into the vineyard to collect leaf forms. You’ll then head back to the tasting room to cut, carve and paint your clay leaves. Once completed, Kate will take the pieces away, fire them and post back to you.
In addition to learning some new ceramic techniques, a soft drink and snacks will be available during the session. All materials, tools, firing and postage included in the ticket price. Please wear clothes you don’t mind getting a little messy and bring a tea towel and/or apron.
Why not stay on after and make a day of it? Book a picnic, a vineyard tour and tasting or relax in the vines with drinks at our shepherds hut bar. Workshop participants will receive a free soft children’s drink if they buy a glass of wine afterwards - just show your booking confirmation at the bar.
